A popular attraction is a carving known as ‘magic flower’ which is carved on a marble panel on a pillar in the Sheesh Mahal. Seven beautiful designs are carved on it including a lotus, lion’s tail, scorpion, hooded cobra, fish tail, cob or corn and an elephant trunk. You will have to cover the panel partially with your hands to view each of the design.The Maota Lake looks splendid from the fort. On return from Amer fort, take a photo stop at the Jal Mahal or Lake Palace of Jaipur. The most photographed spot of the city, and romantic boating trips across the lake will give you spectacular view of Jal Mahal in all its magnificent glory. Visit Royal Gaitor; the intricately carved marble cenotaphs of Maharajas of Jaipur. The site is located in Brahmpuri, 15 km from Jaipur at the foothills of Nahargarh Fort. Evening free for leisure. Mehrangarh Fort stands on top of a raised hillock that is 400 metres above the level of its surrounding terrains. Within the fort visit the famous Jai Pol (victory gate) and Fateh Pol. Explore the Palace of the Clouds (Badal Mahal), sitting at the fort’s highest point, the palace is the reputed birthplace of legendary warrior Maharana Pratap, and its jewel-bright rooms and terraces command spectacular, 360-degree views over beautiful Aravalli Range and the Thar Desert's sand dunes. Post breakfast proceed for half day local sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer covering Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon-ki-haveli, Salim Singh-ki-Haveli & Nathmal Haveli. Jaisalmer Fort is considered as the glory of Jaisalmer and it is located in the center of the city. It is also known as 'Sonar Kila' or 'Golden Fort' because this yellow sandstone fort shines like gold at sunset. Inside the fort complex, tourists can find several architectural buildings which include palaces, houses and temples all made up of soft yellow sandstone. The most visited places of this fort are the Raj Mahal, The Jain and the Laxmikanth Temples, Tazia tower, Jawahar Palace etc. Patwon Ki Haveli-: The Haveli of Patwon is situated near the Patwa campus and is Jaisalmer's first mansion. There are five havelis in the entire complex, which was built by Guman Chand Patwa in 1805 for their five sons. It took 50 years to build this yellow sandstone building. The Havelis are dipped in an enchanting shade of gold and famous for its exquisite carvings, fine wall paintings, beautiful jharokhas (balconies), archways and gateways. Nathmal Ki Haveli -: Nathmalji's haveli is located in the center of Jaisalmer city. It is famous for its architectural style, which is the fusion of Rajput and Mughal design. This mansion was built by Maharajal Barisal in the form of residence of Diwan Mohata Nathal. In the attractive temple of the building, shapes of birds, elephants, flowers, bicycles, steam engines and soldiers were made. The Shrinathji temple of Nathdwara is famous for the Shringar of the deity where the idol is dressed in a new dress every day. Devotees come from all over the world come to see the idol's different forms.
After breakfast, leave for a day excursion to Eklingji, Haldighati and Nathdwara. Eklingji houses 108 temples chiselled out of sandstone and marble, built in 734 AD. Enclosed by high walls, it is devoted to Eklingji (a form of Shiv Deity adored under the epithet of Eklinga). Continue your tour to Haldighati - the extensive terra firma, towards the south west of Nathdwara. This historical site witnessed the great legendry battle fought between Maharana Pratap and the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1576 AD. Last on the tour is Nathdwara which literally translates to 'Gateway to God'. This town got fame due to the 14th century temple of Lord Krishna out here that houses the idol of Srinathji in the form of 7 year old infant incarnation of Lord Krishna.
